Hi there – I’m pregnant with my third with an anonymous donor…so now cue the self-doubt about how I’ll manage. Google is full of stories of working women in their 30s who used a donor to have a kid and managed happily. Bit less but still present are stories where they have had a second kid. But I haven’t found a single story about having a third kid. It’s making me feel a bit isolated. Is there anyone here who is a working sole parent and has 3 kids…and manages ok?

If you’ve had previous pregnancies with a annonomus donor you should be fine to manage on your own with a third. By this time round hopefully you’ve got a fair handle on this parenting gig. Don’t stress so much you clearly made the decision to concieve again as you are ready! Good luck.

Thank you PP! That’s the sort of reassurance I need 🙂 (and yes, my other two were with a donor)

Wow you are amazing and I am sure you are going to be fine – if you have two already perhaps they can help you! So exciting. Wishing you all the best.

Sweety, you will be fine. You have planned this and know what you are doing. It is probably just pre baby nerves which are expected.
