GuestHI,
NSW question. I have recently re-partnered and want to know how it is going to affect my childcare rebate once I inform them. I find it so unfair that my child’s father pays nothing but if I re-partner they take his wage into account for my daughters childcare rebate. -

KeymasterNot sure anyone can tell you the monetary amount here as it is all based on your particular situation. However if you move in with a partner your benefits will be reduced to some extent.

KeymasterThere is an estimator on the centrelink site where you can put in all your earnings, as well as your partners and they will give you an estimate of your changed amount.

KeymasterAre you guys actually moving in together. Unless you are then nothing changes with your payments.

KeymasterRe-partnering will make no difference to your payments hun

GuestMy friend recommended this book (Parenting Toddlers: How You Can Use Positive Discipline to Raise Kids Who Will Have High Self-Esteem, Including Tips for Sleep Training, Handing Tantrums and a Guide to Potty Training) and it’s honestly been a huge game changer for me, it’s been so helpful in so many different aspects of parenting! Here’s the link if you want a free copy: https://amzn.to/2LsVSum
If you want to cancel during the free trial you can, you still get the book, that’s what I did haha 😆
